Welcome to my blog!

Here I’d like to publish shorter pieces about art, film, software, travel, and data. Stuff that I’d like to share medium-form thoughts about that don’t merit a longform piece.

I’m Alex. I grew up in Santa Rosa, California, went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, then moved around a lot after that. Right now I’m in San Jose.

I work in software as a developer education engineer. I’m also a part-time English tutor and accent coach. I have a YouTube channel where I share English learning and American accent tips.

I’m interested in a lot of different things and I think now’s actually an excellent time to publish a personal site. Search and discovery of lesser-known content is easier than ever and I predict it’ll keep going that way.

This site is stitched together to kind of mirror the type of sites I work on at work, which were all designed by very talented people. I hope I’ve made something you’re interested in too!
